Wolf bio:
Born on the coldest night in December, I, Holly, am a wolf puppy with dark brown eyes, a white fluffy undercoat and a topcoat with a dark mask around my eyes. My coat changes colour with the seasons- In the Winter I am pure white with shades of grey that look like silver. In the summer, I have a timber wolf coat. As I am a puppy then I am smaller than most wolves, but I am fast runner with big paws and sharp teeth. My sister is bigger than me and faster, she has a lighter coat than me, but we both have the same eyes. My dad is the strongest wolf I know. My mum has the softest coat, and when it gets really cold we would all cuddle up to her in our cosy den. When I was old enough to go out of the den and explore, I met another wolf. I soon made friends with her. She had a deep black coat with amber eyes and her name was Tala. We would climb up mountains and through forests. I love to run free in meadows and swim in lakes. I love my family and Tala so much. I love to run in the snow and leap over frozen streams. I love to see the Northern Lights glowing and dancing above my head.
One day, I wandered into another wolfs territory. There was this young but strong wolf. He had light brown fur with piercing blue eyes. He promised that he would look after me. We really liked each other but his pack hated me, and I got thrown out of there. So I continued my journey. But I was getting close to human settlements. I noticed there was a nice human family who left me food in their garden. They never tried to keep me as a pet though. They understood I was wild. They are really friendly and would let me play in their garden. I met another pack of wolves, who became my friends. They like to relax in sunny meadows and just mess about.
I returned home, and told my family the stories of my wanderings. After I had dinner I soon got very sleepy and cuddled up to my sister, my mum and my dad. The next day and for many days after, I played with the other wolves and Tala and it was the start of an amazing journey.
