What would a President Weird Liberal Head do?
-no "so help me God" in presidential oath
-take "in God we trust" off currency
-institute a single-payer health care system
-immigration reform
-prosecute George W. Bush and his cronies like Dick Cheney for war crimes
-nationalize oil, gas, coal (fossil fuels)
-make Peurto Rico the 51st state of the USA
-prosecute President Obama for not prosecuting Bush
-make off-shore drilling illegal
-add a pro-choice amendment to the Constitution
-make gay marriage legal
-make certain drugs legal (but with restrictions, regulations, etc.) and heavily taxed
-focus on alternative energy and other future technology, like antimatter power
-NASA missions to Moon, Mars, etc., establish colonies in solar system
-corporate regulation
-reverse Citizens United vs. FEC
-repair relations with our allies
-get tough with our enemies, but work things out diplomatically, if possible
-crack down on crime
-investigate corruption in general, but specifically political corruption
-ban assault rifles, except for perhaps during war time
-monitor militias
-politically neutral media
-make gambling completely legal, but regulate it, just like any other corporation
-have the government balance the budget, eventually eliminating the deficit
-make everyone pay Social Security tax on 100% of their income
-lift embargo on Cuba
-elimination of our nuclear weapons system
-replace indirect democracy with direct democracy
-cut off diplomatic relations with Israel, push harder for two-state solution, diplomatic recognition of Palestine
-elimination of the class system
-recognize Taiwan as the only true China
-significant reduction of the military
-public service announcements about how paying taxes is patriotic
-reinstate the Glass-Steagall act
-stronger emphasis on education, pay teachers more, hire better ones
-add amendment to the Constitution protecting workers' rights
Common sense liberal ideas.
And that's just SOME of what I would do!
