@iPwnstar4hire I would highly suggest a shotgun, something compact, like maybe 4 or 5 rounds, nothing real fancy. Hand guns are no good for home defense, sense there is a higher chance you will miss and get a collateral. You want a gun that will expel all of it's energy in your target's chest.

The difference between sniper rifles in this game are reload animations and bullet drop. The m98b has the least amount of bullet drop. sv98 has the most but it's the quickest to reload as far as bolt actions. L96 is somewhere between the m40 and m98b. I hear what you're saying though.

I don't know, if you have an issue with range, don't use the suppressor, it affects damage at range more than you think. Being able to equip two barrel attachments is pretty beast, i find it amazing at close range, metro, seine, bizarre but that's just me.

I personally like Battlefield games more than I like Call Of Duty. With that said, I don't think you can put CoD and BF in the same category. BF has a heavy heavy influence on team work, CoD you can ride Solo and still win for your team. Just my two cents.
