OUR FEATURED ARTIST:
MICHEL JACKSON - The King of Pop
I started developing this website in May 2009, and Michael Jackson was the first artist I wrote about. Unfortunately I didn't get a chance to finish the site while he was alive. My wife and I are very sad for Michael Jackson's passing, not wholly because he died—we are fully aware that's apart of life; but we are very sad because of how mistreated and misunderstood he was by many. Michael Jackson is a pure, innocent soul, who did not let go of the child-like characteristics, which is an amazing thing because Micheal continued to see life in an innocently simple way.
Many of us could not understand his perception because we all grew up with our own forged belief system.
When a pure and loving soul like Michael Jackson comes along, people question it. Some find such a simple concept like LOVE difficult to understand. Michael Jackson did his best to tell us through his words, his actions and his music what love really means. In an interview he had a while ago, Michael Jackson tried so hard to make the interviewer understand that LOVE does not have to be sexual. That person could not wrap his mind around it, because he put his flawed perception of love into the equation. I'm not putting down that person because that's what he understood, and that's ok. My only question is: if we don't understand someone, why do we have to find justification and try to judge a person through our perception of right and wrong?
They actually did this in the Middle Ages, when gifted people were not understood—they were burned to the stake because they were labeled as witches. Don't laugh, because were still doing that today- just in different ways.
I truly believe that Michael Jackson wanted to share and remind us of a very simple message that many great ones came to tell us about: LOVE; we all are love, and we all are loved.
"On July 7, 2009, Michael Jackson finally achieved what he tried to achieve his whole life: GLOBAL UNITY. Yes, HE DID IT!!! I have never felt in my entire life so much love and so much connection coming from all corners of the world at once. Michael wanted so much to bring the world together, and he did exactly that. Too bad he wasn't alive to see it so he can finally be at peace, but I'm pretty sure he was watching in delight from a place of total awareness and Love, and that he was very happy. Now, it's up to us to keep it up; let's never forget the day of July 7, 2009." (Angelica Ganea, Pop/Classical Singer&Songwriter)
