Since 1911, Union Mission has been a ready, active hand of help to the needy of West Virginia. Our mission is "helping hurting people in Jesus' name," and as such, we unabashedly share the gospel of Jesus Christ even as we minister to the physical needs of the downtrodden.

At Union Mission, we recognize the Internet as an opportunity to better follow Christ's example of service to the needy and love for our fellow man.

That's why embracing the communal nature of the World Wide Web by making a big push into online social networking, and YouTube is a big part of our efforts. Since 1911, our top priority is in "Helping Hurting People in Jesus' Name," and we hope to augment that mission by dramatically broadening our influence in our community and our impact on our culture through this new initiative.

Union Mission Ministries, Inc. is set apart by the Spirit of God to preach the Gospel and meet physical and emotional needs throughout West Virginia through the provision of shelter, clothing, food, counseling, and structured programs for the poor, the needy, and those bound and bruised by addictive lifestyles.
