About Me:
Sarah (21), Rachel (18) and Bethany (14) Byrum cannot remember the first time they sang together. Put on stage from babyhood, the first audiences they entertained filled church pews and convalescent homes. It wasn't until 2008 that the girls at last decided to form a band which they called Sarabeth, suitably named because it incorporates each of their first names.
Sarah, the band's primary songwriter, wrote her first piano ballad at the age of twelve and has continued to write since then, establishing a repertoire of nearly a hundred pieces. Rachel, the band's lead guitarist, has a keen ear for rhythm and harmony patterns that aid in her unique approach to guitar and her orchestration of the girls' vocal talent. Bethany, the band's bassist, brings to the band a voice that creates a perfect backdrop for the appealingly different voices of her sisters. Whenever they collaborate in songwriting and singing, a kind of magic takes place. Working to create a sound that is unforgettably beautiful and utilizing talent that belies their youth, Sarabeth is blooming out of an obscure forest as a very rare flower indeed - pushing out of the ground and stretching toward the sky as if to say, "Hello, world. We're here to stay."
