As Burns' loyal lickspittle
Waylon Smithers' duties include
squeezing juice for Mr. Burns
every morning, tucking MR. Burn's
in at night, moistening Mr. Burns
eyeballs, assisting Mr. Burns with
chewing and swallowing, removing
Mr. Burns dead skin, lying to
Congress, and some light typing.
His intense devotion to his job is
no doubt largely due to his deep
feelings for his boss,whose
frail, liver-spotted body holds a
strange attraction for Smithers.
A stickler for rules, disdainful
of his underlings, and generally
willing to do Burn's dirty work at
the power plant, Smithers
nonetheless retains some small
shred of morality, occasionally
taking a stand against Burns' more
diabolical schemes, even at the
expense of his job.
Outside of work, Waylon has found
an outlet for his more creative
side through his Malibu Stacy
collection (the worlds largest),
and by designing screen savers for
his computer featuring naked poses
of Mr. Burns.
