I have a Fleck 5600 and the water coming into the house is gray and dirty. put it in Bypass mode a few weeks back but need to get it back up and running. What do you recommend? I don't really know if the settings are even correct. There are only 2 people living in the home. I would be grateful for any pointers you can give me.

Hi Andy, I read your about me paragraph and your interests info. What a blessing to read how the Lord has saved you and will continue to use you as a witness to those who cross your path. I also am a devoted Christian and wait for the Blessed Hope in Christ. I am happy to know that there are those that are not ashamed of Jesus' power and love. I too am interested in eschatology, and daily bible reading. I also play tennis at least twice weekly. Anyway, I do have a question. I have a Gold Series Rainsoft softener. The problem I am having is that there is constant water flow to the drain. What could be the problem, what should I check for?. Thanks and God bless.

Your videos are fantastic, I am watching a few now and then going outside to check the various parts of my Fleck 5600 Econominder that came with my house.

I suspect that the timer motor has died and and I'm planning on also getting a rebuild kit, so I'll probably order them from your website tonight once I make sure that nothing else needs replacing.

Thanks again for such fantastic videos, they have been a great reference and I feel completely confident that I can repair my Fleck 5600 with your video help!

Your videos have been very helpful!! I have musty water coming out of my softener. On a plumber's advice, I ran some bleach through which has not helped. I would like to check the resin but am not sure how hard to crank on the valve to get it to unscrew. The only way to get the valve off of the tank is to unscrew it, right? I surely don't want to break anything.

Excellent, thank you. Spent two days fiddling with this and no manual mentioned the pin to remove the timer, I kept on switching the "switch" backwards and forwards hoping it would fix the thing.
