When I first started playing field hockey I was so confused my the whole thing. Then it was time for my first game. I didn't know what i was doing. All the other girls weren't new at the school (it was a private school) and knew each other so I was lost. I warmed up to the game and by the end of the year i was one of their star-players. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
7th Grade: This year was probably my most successful year of my field hockey experience so far (I'm in 8th grade now). In 6th grade in the school yearI had gone to the Disney Showcase with my age group (U14). I had so much fun. My coach said I had played very well. This year i played for my school again in the fall and had another good season. We did get a new coach though :(. But I think working with other coaches is good. You get an experience. After the season ended in Febuary there wasn't a U14 age division so I wanted to play so...I went with the U16. That was an adventure. Even before the tournament My mom had emailed the Cornell coach ( she went to Cornell) and we had gotten an email back. The coach asked me to fill out a questionnaire and wanted to see me play. At the tournament I was kind of scared b/c these were harder teams and higher skill level. But that would give me a chance to watch some better players. After the tournament we cam in 2nd on our pool. ******************************
8th Grade: This year!!! I am currently in 8th grade! I am going to Disney again in 2 weeks!! This time I'm still not a U16 but I have been practicing really hard. Its scary plus the fact that I'm really short for my age in 13 and 4' 11". But thats ok I'm small but mighty!!
...... I also very much so love horse riding and rock climbing but those are longer stories... i'l save you the time and room to type :)
