Also, how about the famous "ojeriza" (suspicion / sharpness)? If you are shoing them and having them examined by judges, they have to be pretty calm, no? I thought the Brasilian fila was supposed to be a one man / one family type dog. Or is this an outdated idea?

I think no one can appreciate what a fila is without seeing them up close and personal. They truly are like the canine version of a lion. Impressive is not sufficient as a word to describe!!!
