I think that this film is one of the five best films I've ever seen. Almost every person I know who's seen it goes 'Why do you like that super-grim three hour movie?'. Each man to his own I guess, but this movie does what art is supposed to do as far as my life is concerned, which is not to escap...

This song was like a prototype for Eminem and all those rappers who slam other artists, I mean who did that before Lennon? I'm not saying it's a good thing to publicly bitch about a former bandmate, but who did that?

I'm no actor, and have no aspirations to be one, but watching this woman's performances is incredibly inspiring to me, and I feel happy to live in a world where such talent exists.

I know people are gonna disagree with me on this, but this is honestly the most life-affirming experience I've ever had watching a movie since I first saw the Shawshank Redemption several years ago.

Reminds me of Eraserhead.

I'm gonna get murdered for this but I didn't think the rowing sequence was that necessary either. I mean it was a FLAWLESSLY edited sequence, but it didn't quite work, in my opinion, with the rest of the movie.
