I started making movies when I was about 12 years old. My first camera was a cheap WebCam, and the first editing program I used was Windows Movie Maker. With it I made short stop-motion videos using lego and other toys. In Junior High my passion for movies grew and I bought myself a small Sony DV-camera. I also moved on from Windows Movie Maker over to Pinnacle Studio. I made a lot of short experimental movies with my friends. It wasn't before High School I started using After Effects and Premiere. After Effects opened up a whole new world of editing and my videos immediately got better.
