Although your review is informative, I disagree with your choice of a "bug out" weapon. I own a Marlin 336 and it's a great dear rifle, but the Ar-15 in 5.56 nato is a better choice. You will find ammo cheaper and everywhere in a SHTF scenario (Police and military no longer use the .38 or 357)...
