Wicker Park Choral Singers

Wicker Park Choral Singers is composed of an all-volunteer ensemble of musicians who meet every Wednesday evening to prepare choral music for anyone willing to listen. The singers come from a wide range of backgrounds and professions: from educators to attorneys to account managers to laboratory scientists - the ensemble is united by a common affection for getting together and performing. Artistic Director Mark Tomasino founded the ensemble with the idea that there were a lot of people out there who are looking for an opportunity to sing great music with others. His hunch was quickly proved correct as singers turned up from all over the Chicagoland area and invitations for the ensemble to perform came pouring in (the ensemble has recently performed with the Elgin Symphony Orchestra and on the Oprah Winfrey Show)
