The first ever William and Mary Dance Marathon, or WMDM for those who love acronyms, is an all night dance marathon (complete with food, fun and friends) conducted annually. It will take place during Spring 2010.

Its aim is to raise awareness of local Williamsburg-based non-profits to the William and Mary community; the non-profit organization WMDM benefits changes every year, with all proceeds this year going to PASHN (Parents and Advocates for Special Housing Needs). WMDM attempts to act as a bridge between the college and the community.

So, if you enjoy dancing, hanging out with friends, pigging out, or helping out others, start practicing those pelvic thrusts because a night of hot, sweaty fun is coming your way.
