About this user

My name is Olesya. I am Ukrainian currently living in Hungary.
My dance education started since I was 4 years old. I attended dance courses at the local dance college. Here I studied classical and traditional folk dance styles of the former USSR (Ukrainian, Russian, Georgian, Uzbek)
Since I was 10 years old I danced as a soloist in the school dance team. We trained mostly the folkloric styles. At the same time I was part of one of the most respected local dance teams performing modern dance.
Since I was 15 I proudly performed my own choreographies in show dance style at different local events.
At the age of 16 I made my first steps in teaching. And recently I have been chosen with my own choreography to work in South Korea. During the 2-year period in S. Korea I performed as a member of an international dance crew. Among all the choreographies of the crew jazz, traditional Korean dance and oriental (belly dance) styles prevailed.
Since 2007 I regularly take workshops and private classes from the most prominent and internationally renown Egyptian master teachers: M. Reda, Lubna Emam, Ahmed Refaat, Aida Nour (I assisted her during the workshop), Serena and Hossam Ramzy, Nour and Mr.Ehab Gadalla, Tito, Ousama Emam, Nour, Ahmed Fekry, Joana Saahirah etc.
Since 2008 I run my private belly dance school.
In the summer of 2010 Wolmae Dance Company has organized "Belly Dance Fever" - a tour of workshops given throughout the whole Hungary (9 cities).
In 2010 Wolmae Dance Company organized a series of shows "Daughter's of Khalifa" in cooperation with Mercedes Nieto and "The Khalifa Band" (the orchestra of Arabic music from Budapest) running both in Hungary and Ukraine.
In 2010 I have been awarded multiple 1st prize awards at the most prestigious and widely acclaimed belly dance contest in Central Eastern Europe the 10th International Raks Sharki Copmpetition organized by the prominent dancer from Cairo Mona Ghazi in Budapest (Hungary).
