Formed in Brooklyn in 2005 by Adam Castro, Mike Chierchio and Mike Calabrese; all of the early material was recorded for an album that was never released; recorded an E.P. of later material; original drummer departed in 2006; new band with additional guitarist (Phil Salvagione) and new drummer (Russ Mitkowski) formed that year as a new band: Ecumenopolis; having secured a deal with the label Galvatraz with the music of the original band, they decided to take the name We Are The Music Makers; none of the music from the original lineup was ever performed by this incarnation; recorded material for the album "Ecumenopolis" which also contained the E.P. of later material from the original lineup; they toured the South in January 2007 with And This Army; dissolved sometime in late 2007 due to problems with forming yet another lineup.
