Praise this, praise that. Same shit, different name. Why this terrible urge for a mystical or spiritual explanation? Look to the evidence and make up your own damned mind.
It all makes perfect sense if you truly accept the fact that we're evolved apes, and that there is no such thing as the supernatural. Everything is just mere chance and some fancy schmancy natural processes (of which many are not fully understood, which doesn't necessarily mean you have to fill the gaps with wish thinking).
You might find this a dull concept, but I think it's a grander way of looking at it. Just because there's no apparent objective meaning to life, doesn't mean your life lacks meaning. You make up your own meaning. For me that's enjoying the small things, like pondering the wonders of this world, over a cold beer and a warm bath.
