I design new sounds for Reason and also for VST / Audio Unit plugin instruments such as V-Station, FM7, Vanguard and many more. I sell these on my website - www.vst-patches.com

My first sampler was an EMU ESI-32, which,with all the add-ons, cost me around £2k. Today £2000 will get you a decent computer with loads more sampling time than my old sampler had. Back then my computer was an Atari 1040STE (1 Meg of RAM!) running Notator. Today my main machine is a White iMac, with 3 GIG of RAM.

I also run Windows XP on the Mac, as well as on the Ultra Portable ASUS Eee PC. Making music on the move is great. The Asus can run Reason and a few of my other music making apps, such as Reaktor Session and ReCycle.
