@WarsharkProductions yeah, I know, never said they weren't. but they weren't allowed to show that, they posed as a merc group, meaning they had to use inner sphere stuff. Anything linking them to the clans would be bad and possibly ruin any invasion attempts, or at least make them more difficult.
