5 lads - 5 cities. Founded 1991 as a 3 piece band in schwerin, germany the band members form today an axis between the cities of hamburg-luebeck-schwerin-berlin and leipzig. punkrocker are troublemakers - Volxsturm see their name in the traditon of outfits of the German 80s punkscene like SS Ultrabrutal or Brutal Verschimmelt. If you dont fit in a scene you build one on your own! They call their music "Chaos Rock n Roll" - Punkrock for sure, but not limited to that! Release like "Oi is fun" can been truly seen as classics within the scene. Today, the band is one of the longest going Oi! Punk outfits in Germany. Due to musical improvement, Stahmer joined the band in 96 as second guitarist. 1997 saw Tost taking over the Drums and Büschler join in on bass. The up-to-date line up is the following: Robert git., Hinkel voc., Stahmer git., Tost dr., Boris bg.
Releases so far... Demo „Alk vereint", EP „Volxsturm", LP/CD "Oi! is Fun", LP/CD „Mach die Augen auf", 10"/CD Split mit Maul Halten, LP/ CD „Bi uns to Hus", Fanedition „Alk vereint" Picture LP + various compilation cotribution in Germany and other countires. Beside Studio Sessions, playing live is the most important thing for the band. Countless gig were played with the likes of Last Resort, The Business, Oxymoron, Broilers, Deadline, Voice of a Generation, Troopers, Funeral Dress, Discipline, Kassierer, Cockney Rejects, Smegma, Springtoifel, Loikaemie and many more. The band appeared on festivals like „Endless Summer Open Air", „Oi! The Meeting", „Goodfellas Tour Fall`02", „Oi! The Weekend", "Punk & Disorderly", "Oi it`s Friday", „Force Attack", "Weihnachtspogo 12", "Oi! En France 8"...
