I am a Hey Arnold! Fan & D@mn Proud! My Favorite episode is "The Journal" (despite the fact it was a cliffhanger; This episode was probably the one thing Nick & / or Viacom did right for the series; Dammit! I WANTS ME THAT JUNGLE MOVIE!) I'm fasinated with Animation, Arnold's Mother Stella (seriously, what's not fasinating about a woman who passed a football-headed baby with lil' to no medical aid whatsoever; she's a doctor for the right reason: to actually help people instead of just jammin' pills down a patient's throat an' callin' it a day like most doctor's nowadays. She's the main reason I took a Botany class my senior year of high school; though I didn't do too well in the class but I never lost interest in the subject). I also love The 90's & early 2000's Nicktoons (pretty much EVERYTHING that post dates 2006 sucks! XD) I am a girl gamer (never actually played Kingdom Hearts, but I love Crossovers! :D). I'd love to learn how to program a video game. I love Animatronics! :D (RIP Stan Winston). I collect stuff XD (ie. Toys, DVD's, VHS's, PC software for older systems; Thank God for Virtual PC! :D; etc.)

I actually liked HATM, despite how poorly it did. I also like The American (God)Zilla, The Balto Triology (Especially Balto II: Wolf Quest), Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron, The Shrek Saga, The Rugrats Trilogy, The Lion King Trilogy, Disney's Dinosaur, The Bambi Films, The animated 1973 Charlotte's Web, & other films.

I like a lil' bit of each genre of music; I actually have the culture & taste to apreciate music that lack audible lyrics! (& Celine Dion). I also like Phil Collins, James Newton Howard, Jim Lang, John Willams, Hans Zimmer, & others Like Rammstien, Evanescence & Oliver Shanti & more.

	mannardme (2 weeks ago) Sorry I didn't get back to you sooner, but I was out for most of today and had to finish some homework when I got home. I miss you whenever we don't get a chance to chat, but I think we'll have a great deal to say in a few weeks. And Happy Valentine's Day to you, too. :) Sometimes I do wish I had a boyfriend to share the holiday with, like my sister has her husband now, although I doubt they're really into celebrating it. In the last couple of years, my mom has given us bags of VDay candy, but it doesn't seem like she had time this year. However, I think I can get my hands on some leftover candy at the drugstore in a few days, when I can get out there. Anyway, have a good day, sis. I love you! hugs
	mannardme (2 weeks ago) I've been meaning to tell you for a while that Star Wars: The Phantom Menace was said to come out in 3D and finally did yesterday. I was hoping that my mom would take me out at night when it opened to see it, but last minute complications didn't let us do that last night, but we saw it tonight. I had bugged her about seeing it at night because I thought it would be cooler. In fact, I read that for the next few years, each Star Wars film will be released each year in chronological order, starting with The Phantom Menace. I'll be eager to see Revenge of the Sith in theaters again. I saw that one six times, more times than I saw the first two prequels in theaters. It received more positive reviews than its predecessors, and I think that it was partly because that film was the one that really had all of the answers about Anakin's fate that fans have wanted to know for years.
	mannardme (2 weeks ago) When I watched it, I think I was most pleased to actually SEE him say that Arnold and Helga are meant for each other and WILL end up together. From sources that collected his words from the online interviews, I know what words he said in a sentence where he said that Arnold and Helga were meant for each together, and it's great confirmation since he said it and the creator speaks the truth. But to actually watch a video where he SAYS it, well, that's something I have been wanting to see, one way or another, for a long time. So I'm happy to have finally been able to see it. :)
	mannardme (2 weeks ago) Yesterday, I watched those videos you liked on that interview with Craig Bartlett on Hey Arnold! I tell you, it was really cool to see someone having an open interview with him about the show, even after all these years since it has ended. Heck, it's nice to hear that he likes the fan art made by people on dA. I wonder if he has ever seen art specifically like limey's, because she can draw the best I have ever seen for this cartoon. I also figured he would say he likes "Helga on the Couch," because I really don't see how it can't be favored by fans as well as cast and crew alike. Heck, he even wrote that episode. And that reminds me, I don't know how much reading he does, but do you think he would like my writings, specifically the essays on the show, most especially the ArnoldxHelga one?
	mannardme (2 weeks ago) I saw a couple of students get 10/10 on the first assignment, and I bet everyone else did, because it is a small class. I know I shouldn't make a big deal of it, but I hate getting off to a start like that for the semester, because the assignment wasn't that hard, and losing points early doesn't make me happy because there are so many more I could lose in the next couple of months, especially with tests, and then that reduces my chance of getting a very high grade for the course. My first scheduled exam in the class is on the 29th, and it sounds like I really need to some reading and looking at material to be prepared for potential questions. There are two exams that are each worth 100 points, and it doesn't sound like there will be a final exam, but I don't know how sympathetic this teacher is, so I want to work as hard as I can and get a good grade on my own terms. I've got more B's than A's now, but I can't really afford anything below that.
	mannardme (2 weeks ago) I didn't get a chance to say yesterday that I got 8/10 on my first biochemistry assignment, but I was disappointed in it because my instructor commented on the things I didn't include, or in other words, I thought I included everything, but not in the way that he expected them to appear. If I hadn't made those little mistakes, I would have gotten a perfect 10/10. So far, we have had short assignments like those due every Wednesday, which is when the class meets, and when I got that first grade, I worked like the dickens on the second assignment to ensure that everything needed for it was included and hopefully done in the way the instructor expects. Now I have my third assignment to finish, but I can only do it in the lab because of the required program.
	mannardme (2 weeks ago) I don't think something like this would make Olga act like Ray, but I bet Helga would get delight if there was something that would make her parents favor her over Olga, and with boyfriends, that's a possibility. Remember how I said in my essay that Miriam would likely take immediate acceptance to Arnold, but Bob would try to look for something wrong with him first, and he would get annoyed because he wouldn't be able to. Additionally, he would realize that Arnold is a better person than him, and with his competitive nature, he wouldn't accept it, but have to get used to it. I mean, Arnold's pretty much the best boyfriend, and Helga's making a right choice with someone like him.
	mannardme (2 weeks ago) In the last few days that I didn't get to talk to you, I was going to ask you the same thing about that new Facebook group regarding The Patakis. Mia invited me to be in the group, and how could I refuse? :) And speaking of that and ELR made me think of something. Did you ever see the episode where Ray finds out that Marie likes Amy more than Debra, and he obviously can't stand it because it's one way in how his mother prefers Robert over him? Well, we know that in The Patakis pilot, Olga makes her parents disappointed for a change when she says she wants to be an actress, and I think that would delight Helga. What if there was a possibility after that show, that Olga has a boyfriend around the time that Helga is back with Arnold, and both of them learn somehow that Bob and Miriam like Arnold more than they like Olga's boyfriend?
	mannardme (2 weeks ago) Heck, when I turned in the approval form, I had to include a brief summary of what I am doing along with a schedule saying what I am doing and when, and that also includes the months I plan to submit my proposal and defend it, as well as doing the final drafts, and I want to stay on track with that. Maybe I can work enough to still submit the proposal by the end of February (that's when I said I would do it) and give the defense before spring break (I said I would try to do that in March). Of course, I'm a little nervous about doing all that at those times, because I know I will an exam in both of my classes before spring break, and as always, I worry about doing well in class when it comes to studying for the exams.
	mannardme (2 weeks ago) Before the end of last semester, I had to send in a topic approval form to the Dean with the signatures of people I chose to be on my thesis committee. According to them, a student is not actually supposed to begin their research until their topic of choice is approved, although my advisor said they still let them because the approval does not happen until after the third semester, and students should use that free time between the second and third semesters to do the work. If their topic is approved, they should soon afterwards schedule a time to submit the proposal and defend it, and both are short versions of the final thesis paper and defense. I need to do those two things sooner than later because it needs to look like I still have time to finish my work since I had said I wanted to graduate this August.
