I have been studying human consciousness for over 25 years, a path I took after having an eight-hour mystical experience on January 26, 1983. This experience was completely out of the blue and involved absolutely no spiritual practice to induce it neither did it involve alcohol or drugs! Whats more, a companion experienced the entire morning (it occurred between the hours of 1 a.m. and 9 a.m.).
Not wanting to hang my hat on any one belief structure, I have studied various psychological and spiritual subjects since that time, qualifying as a Psychotherapist in 1986 and a Reverse Speech Investigator in 2004.
As a writer, I have had over 15 million words published on a broad range of subjects, from Tai Chi and Bible Codes through to Architecture and Food, in the UK, Ireland, United States, Canada, Mainland Europe, and the Middle East.
In relation to paranormal subjects, I have to admit that Im a bit of a sceptic. I dont believe anything unless I experience it. For me, experience is the only evidence. I envy those who can operate solely on faith, but I cant. With this in mind, Meta Speech really had to convince me before I could put pen to paper. It did. I now have in excess of 1000 audio examples of spirit communication; some are clearer than others and not all make immediate sense, but they are all there. Of course, there are those people who will always take the view of a now anonymous speaker who was talking to anthropologist Margaret Mead: This is the kind of phenomena I wouldnt believe, even if it were true. Others, open-minded sceptics I like to call them, may well resonate more to psychologist Carl Jung, who said: I shall not commit the fashionable stupidity of regarding everything I cannot explain as a fraud.
