No problem comrade, I understand how many people have been misled by the propaganda coming from the East and Western powers. Even many people who believe in Communism are fooled in to thinking it means Statism, Authoritarianism, and other kinds of Stalinist government where one person, party, or politiburo decides what is best for everyone.

Just remember, when anyone asks you what Socialism is....simply tell them it is direct workers' control over production. As for Communism, it is said by Marx that it is the final development of Socialism. This is why it is very important to know what Socialism actually is, otherwise Communism will be impossible...

If you're so in favour of freedom why are yo so vehemently clinging to an ideology which has no relevance to you and whose symbols you treat like a religion?

true communism doesnt function the way you're talking about in terms of economics Historyisthekey. true communism has decentralised worker control and no currency system and things will only be produced for needed consumption as opposed to being marketed. i admittedly am not strong on economics but soviet russia was not a communist state and also america and other nations have historically invaded,manipulated and forced treaties on nations so the so called "free market" doesnt exist.

Cuba was an authoritarian state. It's centrally controlled and governed and is not an example of a communist state. Also, to claim that Cuba was a success story is hardly historically correct. Cuba has had a panoply of problems especially economic ones. But if that be what you are going to say what communism is then I suppose it makes my viewpoint much easier to justify. I shall be brief in this; centrally controlled and planned economies will always fail. A central government cannot determine how many of different goods will be needed at different times and without the price regulating supply there are no indicators of it. So people will invariably starve, be homeless, not have any transportation etc. This is not an exaggeration, see Soviet Russia.
