My name is Dr. Mark Guariglia D.C. I have had Fibromyalgia Syndrome for 14 years. Subsequently through years of study and research I have developed an all inclusive, well balanced program at FibroCareCenter which helps people improve their symptoms and manage their condition. For many years I have realized the need for more advocacy and more knowledge for Fibro because it is obvious that many of those I treat have been discredited and or even ignored. I along with Mariluz Fontanez and several other board members, yet to be named, decided to launch a huge advocacy campaign to raise awareness internationally. We need not only the internet but also the main stream media's support in order to get the message out about how Fibromyalgia affects millions of lives. It also costs this country billions of dollars in treatment and work time lost. We have formed the IFAC International Fibromyalgia Awareness Campaign with the hopes that we can raise enough revenue to present professionally done television and radio promotions. We are also looking for the media to contact us and get involved so that we can have the opportunity to reach as many people as possible. Our panel of experts include professionals from many health disciplines because we believe that the best way to help those with Fibromyalgia is through a comprehensive program. We have nutritionists, homeopaths, Rheumatoligists, Myofascial Release Therapists, Chiropractors, Clinical Psycologists, Accupuncturists and Fibromyalgia patients themselves participating in our overall mission. This campaign will dramatically improve the lives of millions of Fibromyalgia sufferers through providing them with more support both through the IFAC and also their family and friends that will have a much better understanding of what they face each and every day.
