"Bonfá plays in the band of hard rock/metal 'Mercy'. Among his influences are: Dimebag Darrell, Steve Vai, Joe Satriani and David Gilmour. However, his solo work goes beyond the style of his group and the referred guitarrists, as is evident in his song 'Safira', a unconventional ballad with very unique melodies, beautiful sounds and flawless execution."

- Specialized in Rock Guitar - Instituto de Guitarra e Tecnologia (IG&T) with Professor Ricky Furlani.
- Formed in Acoustic Guitar - Instituto de Violão e Tecnologia (IV&T) with Professor Gustavo Scaranelo.
- Released a demo CD with his band Mercy available for sale on the website of Die Hard Records at: http://www.diehard.com.br/l... and also in store in Galeria do Rock.
- With the international band, SunCrown, recorded a tribute to Ronnie James Dio with special guests, including the drummer Vinny Appice (Black Sabbath/Heaven and Hell/Dio).
- Participated in the CD 'The Guitangears' of Yoger Mucci, beside big stars of the guitar/music as Michael Angelo Batio, Joe Stump, David Shankle, Theodore Ziras, Marco Minnemann and more.
- Minister classes of Guitar, Acoustic Guitar and Music Theory (Blue's Guitar School).
