Well, it's not as if all these publications have the same interests. I'm hoping you realize they can and often do contradict each other and present different accounts given their diverse interests. Now, it's not merely an issue of news accounts. You can find evidence of the negative and illegal behavior of the protestors in legal material, in video, in audio, and in a great multitude of images.

As for leaving a given era, I certainly wouldn't rest in the Romantic Era. I think it's important that we use a little common sense in judging what is going on in the world. There is a substantial body of evidence regarding their actions. All it requires to understand this is a little honesty in your analysis.

Ok - listened to a lot more Ween now. They are clearly very talented. They seem to do everything! So much in fact that often I'm not sure what they are satirising. Maybe it's Hommage rather than satire? Certainly worth the listen.

But listen to the lyrics with Ween! It is ridiculous.

Violet, Yup I'd figured that Ween was satire - To me it's possibly just a bit too close to the real... Zappa I confess I came to inreverse - I'd heard the crude stuff and then began to enjoy the rest... Ween - I need to do more listening!

By the way...Ween is not a serious band. They satirize like Zappa did. Unless you understand that you will not get them.
