Just in response to your suggestion regarding an alternative to deciding to end my wee video making past time; well, I simply cannot find a decent, workable, video creator programme since stupidly deleting the movie maker 2.6 programme. And yeah, I know film footage in relation to music/soundtrack is indeed the easier scenario, I feel it don't take much skill and can be rather boring to simply stick a song on over, however finely, edited footage. So there I am. Most likely, if I can find a similar movie maker such as 2.6, I'll be at it again...given an idea or two, that is. You take care! All the best, Jonathan.
