The 2012 Vienna International Science and Engineering (S & E) Fair will be held on 17 March 2012 hosted at the AIS, with the purpose to support young scholars in scientific and technical research and to stimulate creative thinking and innovation in science. Encourage your middle and high school aged children to participate! The success of this event is credited largely to our sponsors, who lend their names and financial support to the event.
The Fair presents a unique opportunity to promote and develop the interest of over 100 students between the ages of 13 and 18 in science and technology. These students attend prestigious international schools whose graduation statistics indicate that a high majority will go on to attend university and acquire advanced degrees. Most come from the community of expatriate families living in Vienna. These young people will become leaders achieving advancements in the future of science and technology. Photos and information on the Vienna Fairs can be found at http://www.savic.ca/inmm_vienna/science_fair_2011.html.
In addition, we are reaching out through a dedicated Facebook page, Twitter, LinkedIn, and are featuring the event on "The Best of Vienna" www.thebestofviennablog.com and posting videos on this channel. Sponsoring organizations' names and logos will be printed on the posters, announcements and program which will be seen by the participants, teachers, parents and the more than 120 INMM Vienna Chapter members. Logos will be featured on the website and posted on the Facebook page for the Fair. The national INMM website will also feature the poster, exposing sponsoring organizations to the more than 1200 members of INMM worldwide. Sponsoring companies are also invited to attend the final awards banquet.
The Science and Engineering Fair is in particular need of monetary support and prizes. Any support is most welcome and highly appreciated. Please add this channel to your favourites and share it through your social networks.
