Oh I just thought about that. I think an alternator puts out AC power doesn't it. You might just need a step up transformer. If it puts out DC then the power inverter (or step up transformer powered by a 12V oscillator which creates a 110VAC output) I think entirely too much. :D

Sounds like your having a lot of fun. I want to build a Tesla Coil. Maybe I can eliminate electrical outlets in my room. I know, not a good idea. Please make lots of videos on those experiments.

If they do a series I hope its available on DVD and/or over-the-air TV. If not I'll have to wait 'til it comes out on DVD. Not too many affordable cable or satellite companies hear in Birmingham,Al.
