Thank you for your great suggestion and you are right. That is exactly what I do. The bulk of my fire related items; candles, char Cord, matches, lighter, etc, are kept in the fire kit and is presented for the viewer's edification. You will find I have built in redundancy with multiples of fire starting items spread throughout the other kits as well as on my person. My cooking kit includes fuel tabs and a magnesium fire starter. I keep a Fresnel Lens in the hardware kit and one in my wallet. My Hygiene kit has cotton balls in it. My first aid kit contains Isopropyl Alcohol, cotton, and Blistex. I keep a fire steel on me, and I can also use the friction method to start a fire. I carry other fire starting items spread throughout the many pockets in my backpack. I can also use the battery from my flashlight or cell phone to spark a fire. My survival knife has matches, fuel tab and cotton in the handle. These are just a few of the duplicate methods I have prepared for.

Owls seldomly can be released into the wild without the help of their parents. Alfie is not a 'pet' as such he is a raptor that isa part of our falconry team. We have over 15 years experience working with raptors and educating the public about the conservation of speciesWithout the work of falconry centres the public would not be aware of many species therefore not donating money to protect them. And as i said each day Alfie has the oppertunity to fly away and he doesnt.

(2nd part of my comment on my vid that wouldnt post) ...causing it to starve to death. Alfie is flown daily and always has the oppertunity to fly away if he wants too. This little owl shows me nothing but affection and often flys onto my shoulder and wants to cuddle into me. He gets to fly for fun not survival, he gets constant food without the worry of starvation, he's protected against all that could harm him and he get constant affection which he would not experience in the wild. Alfie's a happy owl and he shows it me daily through his behaviour
