Backwoods Jack
Some videos of Backwoods Jack before and since he became "Backwoods." His road name, "Backwoods Jack" is an that was bestowed on him the first time he played for Buzz Potter, founder of the National Hobo Association. I was with him. They asked me about Jack so they could come up with a name. I said, "Well, he lives in a shack - out back in the woods on 20 acres. Captain Dingo immediately seized the idea for Jacks official road name. He's been performing the Hobo Music and Poetry events ever since - where he tributes U. Utah Phillips, Jimmy Rogers and showcases his own original works in the genre.
