I started this channel to talk about my IVF journey, to put information out there for other's searching for answers. Now with my two new additions to my family (guardianship of my two cousins) I will also talk about my family and dealing with autism. I want to document this entire process to encourge others and be supportive. Hopefully through my process I will be able to help someone else. Nov 2008- starting the TTC process.
Nov-08-Nov09 No luck:-( worried something was wrong
Jan 2010- appt to see GYN. She made an appt for the Fertility specialist...(MAKE sure you talk with your doctor if after a year you haven't had any luck)
Feb 5, 2010 First appt with fertility specialist
Feb 12, 2010 HSG Test. Found out tubes were blocked:-( IVF is the only way
Feb 25, 2010 SGH test. POLYPS discovered in uterus
March 2, 2010 Surgery to remove Polyps and look at fallopian tubes to double check. Too much tubal damage. IVF reccomended
March 15th, 2010 My aunt died of Breast Cancer. My husband and I took in her two boys. There both special needs. The youngest one has autisim.
Start IVF tx April
April 10, 2010 Started BCP
April 18, 2010 Started 10units pf Lupron
May 1, 2010 decreased lupron 5units, 150units of Follistem
May 5, 2010 Follistem increased 225units
May 11th decreased follistem 150units. Levels too high
May 13, 2010 Recieved call from RE office, I ovulated:-(
May 14th Consult w/doctor. 1-1.5% of people ovulate on lupron (I am so special:-) She said I can start in 2 weeks when cycle starts but I am going to wait till July
July IVF started IVF w/ a new protocol..Used ganrelix
813/10 egg retrieval 6 eggs all fertilized
8/16/10 Embroyo transfer. All 6 were grade 8 embroyos (highest quality) We put two back inside of me ...
8/27/2010 First Beta positve. my levels were 61.3
