Hey Ralfy. What do you think about this craze over bottlings of Port Ellen? I think Port Ellen is a great whisky but not nearly worth the price going for at auction, especially when you could get 3 Broras for the price of one Port Ellen.

Ralfy the mixologist makes another guest appearance! Another great video Ralfy! When my craving for a whisky cocktail kicks in, a touch of lime and a good ginger beer does the trick.

The only reason why this version of the Old-Fashioned was created was because of prohibition when the quality of the whisky was crap and the muddling of all that unnecessary fruit. You're are taking away from a great bourbon by adding all those ingredients.

How much does a bottle of whistlepig cost where you live? I know the distillery that supplies whistlepig (Alberta Premium ) Sells the exact 10 year old whisky In canada for $23.

@Litterboy78 that is just gonna make more work for the bartender. It's going to take longer to shake and stir a cocktail with Ice that is too cold. A cocktail need dilution to me properly balanced and if it's too cold any small nuances are gonna be lost.
