Everyday we see the sunshine, the clouds, the trees, the rain and the snowfalls that surround us from one season to another. The colours that surround us and fill our world with such immense beauty are illuminated by a single great force that is universal to us all. Whether we light up a kerosene lamp or switch on a bulb or just wave a flashlight to get to where we are headed, the same principles apply. But the light that brightens the day and even the night is not made up of a single luminous white flame. Hold a prism to the light and we see that it comprises of many other colours forming a full spectrum of what contributes to be a single force.
We humans are no different. And in our case it could be our personality, ambition, ability to thrive, contend, survive, grow, grieve, laugh, love, cry, unite and cherish that make us a vibrant and colourful. The individual colours that spark from within make us who we are. But it is a decision we make to illuminate our spectrum of colours. If we dont strike the match or turn on the light switch with our own effort, nothing happens.

The sun doesnt favour one person over the other. It is a universal force just as the air we breathe. But we fail to realise that, and as a result we have decided to live our lives to the peak that has been set by our peers. We try not to thrive, fully realising that our Parents or perhaps the community we are exposed to, havent done any better. This is very much like the 4 minute mile that was once written in stone as unbreakable. But one individual dared to prove it wrong and ever since many have followed suit. So, each of has an inner glow, somewhat similar to the Sun. It glows from within our believes and the limitations that we have set for ourselves. But in reality we all have the same equal capacity, the same amount of time everyday to make our inner flame glow to whichever level of brightness we so desire. Just as muscles grow stronger with use, so does our potential and the capacity to achieve whatever we righteously ask of life. Just as those who never once knew the alphabet, thrive to the point that they can make meaningful sentences, we too sour to new height with effort, vision and direction. But how high are you willing to fly? The ceiling isnt holding you back nor is the ground holding you still. But it is us, who determine our own potential. We could never have counted to a hundred or a thousand had we never tried. But the effort, purpose and the clear vision of where you wish to be will contrast the individual colours that contribute to your success (in all aspects of our lives). We are only as happy as the flame that burns within. So it is an inside job. As Jim Rohn says The same wind blows on us all It is not the wind that determines our destination but the set of the sail.

So take the first step of the journey and join me. Our holiday on Earth has a purpose, a much greater purpose than our favourite TV show. And as we begin to sour, we must be willing to hear the cries of the truly disadvantaged people of our societies be it whichever corner of the world. We cannot change everything but the little we give can change a life and very likely affect generations that flow from it.
I once used to think that one person cannot make such a difference. But we can.
A forest is harnessed with a single seed. So lets do our part and make it better for ourselves and for others around us. And when we sour to new heights, unseen forces will propel us to our desired destinations. The journey wont be a steady climb. But if you make it to the top of the mountain (with might and will power) you can enjoy the lush crispy clean air enjoyed by the few.

So now it is your time, to take control of your life and every aspect of it. So lets set a new sail to your new journey and start trotting forward one step at a time and before we know it youll be there marvelling at the clouds that float by, so close to your vicinity.
