I'm a libertarian on state versus individual issues, and believe that sensibly regulated capitalism is the state's appropriate involvement in the economy. My extremist radical position is that both the economy and the state exist to serve the interests of the people, not visa versa. I'm a committed democrat.
I'm mainly interested in discussing philosophy and religion. I had been commenting frequently on global warming videos, but it's futile. To keep my blood pressure in check, and maintain my identity as a civil human being, I'm trying to avoid too many social/political topics.

I'm quite certain that I don't read anymore, yet the number of books I've read keeps growing. It seems my phantom reading is mainly non-fiction like philosophy, history, or technical math/science/computer books. Fuck literature.

BTW, if you're a social libertarian and support economic social democracy ... you might be a left-libertarian (i.e., applying the non-aggression principle to economic power relations).
