It's petty in my opinion.

Let people listen to music. People always rage when a relatively unknown band that they like suddenly gets spotted by the masses.

I can see why this song was made, but it comes across as a handful of silly do gooders jumping on a bandwagon.

It's not like Metallica's music is being specifically made to torture people. The way in which Hetfield "supported" the use of torture was more in the way of a joke.

Good song. I usually don't like this sort of metal, but you guys sound better than a lot of other new metal bands.
