Eddie:My name is Edward Charles Brock but you can call me just Eddie. My mother died, giving birth to me. I got the best education, the finest health care, the latest toys. But what I really needed was the one thing my father(Carl Brock) could no longer give:affection. In school, I worked hard. But my reward for perfect marks was a terse--"That's nice, Edward.Now, why don't you go out and play?"
I excelled in sports, hoping that trophies and medals would do a trick...and they didn't. Then in college, I had cancer. Doctors said that I had left to live 3 months. So, I switched my major to journalism. On graduating I moved to New York, got a job in Daily Globe and became a journalist. I thought my father would really respect me for this. But even at the peak of my career,when I was writing exclusive interviews about the Sin-Eater, word from my dad was rare and perfunctory. All was fine, until that cursed Spider-Freak exposed the real Sin-Eater and I was fired in disgrace. And communication between me and daddy was ceased altogether. So, I went, prayed to God for questions. My life was supposed to be a shame but instead God gave me a wonderful surprise. I found a symbiote that bonded with me and shared my hatred to Spider-Man. It also told me everything about him. Now, we'll have our revenge.Now we are the lethal protector,now we are VENOM!!!

Symbiote:I was found by a superhero named Spider-Man. So, I bonded with him and we both began to save New York from evil. The body was so good that I wanted to consume it. But Spider-Man felt suspicious and fought me with huge bells. I knew that I was weak against them, so I went away and found another host, Eddie Brock. He had the hatred that I had. Spider-Man will pay for throwing me away like a rubbish bin. We are VENOM!!!
