Thanks so much for your comment on my channel! :D I reuploaded my "applying binding" video so the people in Germany/Switzerland could see it (apparently they can't see any videos that contain north american music). That's just one way to finish the edges however. You can also just sew it shut flat and put lace around it etc or just sew it mostly shut inside out and then flip it right-side out (although the last method is more difficult to put boning in!).
I've only worked with small pieces of leather (for appliques and accessories) so I'm not entirely familiar with sewing full leather garments. You can check out my friend on youtube called SuzanziBalletHeels because she is just finishing up a leather corset and can give you much more info than myself! :)
