There's something sweet, something sincere, something innocent about the films of the early movie industry (1900s- late 1960s). Each time you watch a movie from that time you are reminded of how simple things were back then. The mass majority of modern day movies just doesn't quite equate. They don't have magic. They aren't timeless. They are movies that will come out, be watched, and soon forgotten in a matter of day or so. As time goes on, I find myself longing more and more for the fleeting simplicity that is now being replaced by the pervading complexities being ushered in by our rapidly changing digital world.
