What would've done more damage? An explosion that seems to be equivalent to an N2/nuke, or the ocean of blood produced by rebuild sahaquiel?

In addition to the CGI thing, I love the little effects that were probably out of reach of their budget and technique in the original; the rubble kicked up by the EVA's sprinting, the ground exploding around unit 1's feet when it lands after a jump; it makes the scenes so much more alive.

So, looking at the Alvatore, it has a crap-ton of rapid fire lasers, a really big laser, and automated fangs. Paint it gold, and you have a perfect machine for the rich, pompous jack-ass with aspirations of world domination and little technical piloting skill.
