About Me:
/ CREOLE MAURICIEN / HINDI =हिन्दी
Hullo,
I'm a Foreign Law Student in Paris
I'm basically on Youtube for the same reasons as most youtubers--Listening, Watching and Enjoying Vids for free while joining or usually starting some time-wasting Comment War...xD
I happen to be an Atheist, and though I don't see any usefulness of Religions in today's World, I'm not anachronic and so, I do try to Contextualise the Scriptures in their Time Period;
I'm a Humanist because I think that the mere fact that I'm a Human Being is sufficient for me not to wish undue harm to a fellow Homo Sapiens or any other Living Organism ( I don't need the Promise of Heaven or Fear of Hell or dubious moral values for that);
I happen to be Gay (It's not a Choice, but an intrinsic part of one's personality just like Heterosexuality is to Straights);
I'm a Feminist because I value Equal Opportunities;
I'm a Huge fan of Great Scientists and I can speak for hours on the History of Civilisations...:P
And yes, I was going to forget, I also like making small theories on social issues and things like that...:))
Salut,
Je suis Athée et malgré le fait que je ne vois pas en quoi les Religions peuvent être utiles dans le Monde d'aujourd'hui, je ne suis pas anachronique et essaie donc de contextualiser les Ecrits Religieux dans leurs Epoques respectives;
Je suis Humaniste car je pense que le simple Fait d'être un Etre Humain suffit pour que je ne fasse pas de mal à un autre Etre vivant ( Je n'ai pas besoin qu'on me promette le Paradis ou qu'on me menace avec les flammes de l'Enfer ou qu'on m'impose de force des valeurs Morales douteuses pour cela);
Je suis Gay ( Ce n'est pas un Choix, mais une composante intrinsèque de la personnalité de quelqu'un tout comme l'hétérosexualité peut l'être pour d'autre);
Je suis féministe car je suis profondément attaché à la notion d'Egalité des Chances;
I'm not translating into Mauritian Creole because we're supposed to be bilingual (or even more) and
As far as Hindi is concerned
देवनागरी में टाइप करना इतनी आसान नहीं है...:P
( Devanagari mei type karna itni assan nahi hain...:P)
Some of my favourite quotes, they kind of say a lot about me:

"If a man does his best, what else is there?"

I read books about the origins and basic teachings of several religions (I beleive Catholicism, Judaism, Islam, and Hinduism). I was horrified at Islam and even toay I'm not fond of respecting it. Hinduism I didn't like because the idea of being reincarnated as other animals made no sense; also I thought their ideas of multiple gods was no different than pagan gods of old times where people killed and sacrificed even themselves to please these gods. Lastly, I read about Judaism, which seemed to lead into Jesus, so I came back to Christianity. P.S. I'm a protestant? I really don't what to say XD
"Yeah, I also see that every time I hear on the news that innocent Men, Women and Children are dying of Hunger and Malnutrition..." There's evil in the world; there has been and always will be as explained above.
But let me ask you this, if there's no God what do you tell those people if you ever see them? "Sorry you just got born in the wrong conditions and your death was tragic and that little time you had on earth was all for naught, and now you've ceased to exist." What would you say?
