@Jahkillian B4 the Stonewall Riots which the parades commemorate gays were being beaten and arrested. Until very recently some states have continued to arrest gays, and general discrimination against them is still legal in much of USA. Overt violence against gays continued much longer than again...

I think the majority of American people want to call themselves conservative, but actually have beliefs that are not conservative--at least not what we call conservative in the era the neo-cons--and at times are even progressive.

@Joneski3 I doubt care either. And it's not that Sony would care if he were gay. They care about his image. The perception, at least, is that the world is not gay friendly, and that overtly gay artists won't sell as well. I'm sure Sony cares very much about that.
