@VampireKitten06 KUDOS for giving this such thought. I think your gut instinct is going to be your best bet. If they were to adopt one from a shelter, it would not be free. You would pay a fee that helps cover spay/neuter. One idea that came to mind just now is to ask for a fee which you agree to apply towards spay/neuter at a vet of their choice -- or if you have them spay/neutered before adoption, then it would help pay for that. I would also look on the websites you are advertising them to see what other people are asking in order to screen. You are welcome to download my questionnaire (it's over the top probably for a situation like yours, but might give you some ideas). The link to it is on this page: http://www.mythicbells.com/available.htm At the very least chat with them for a while with your antenna out for someone trying to scam you.

Hi VK - at 2 - 3 weeks you are getting them out of the danger zone, so they may survive which is great news, but I would be a little worried about the non-poo thing. Plump, is fine if it's not due to air or constipation. When you stimulate them you should be seeing poo as well as pee .... it will likely be fairly liquid or like toothpaste and yellowish-brown. Try working a tiny dab of vaseline into the anus which is soothing and may also be a gentle suppository, but if you don't see them defecate in the next 24 hrs or so, consult a vet who can give you an oral laxative to help get them started. At 3 weeks you can also start introducing them to the litter pan and it will help when they can go on their own. Good luck.

Hey! Thanks for the sub. I'm slow getting back to you because I've been swamped with new subs - which I can't complain about!
