@schwinnprotocol It pushes the snow to the side, it's called an angle. Also i don't think i have ever seen a plow truck that wasn't going to make it through the snow without the plow, the idea is for cars that can't make it.

@Sarcasticscum It's called an air intake, and they suck water likes it's their job. the exhaust is no prob, but i've seen people drive their cars with cold air intakes through a small puddle and suck up enough water to stall it out.
