Working to overcome poverty, injustice and poor health in India.

VST is a progressive UK charity that works with Indian NGOs to support women, HIV+ people and Dalits confronting poverty and injustice.

We empower marginalised people to build community organisations and pursue lives free from poverty, violence and discrimination.

We focus on Tamil Nadu in southern India where we have worked for 30 years. This long involvement and our direct contact with Indian development workers brings both grassroots knowledge and professionalism to our programmes.
