About VHS Skatevideos Digitalized
Hi!
My name is Eirik and I am from Norway. I am 21 years old, and I have been skateboarding since 2002.
Back in the day when I started skateboarding, THPS and a few VHS casettes was the only way we could watch skateboarding. By watching Eric Koston and Jamie Thomas skateboarding their own way, we learned as young skateboarders what skateboarding is about.
Today we have all kinds of media for skateboarding. They show Street League live on TV, we can watch new skatevids everyday on 100s of skatesites. Even commercials include skateboarding today. But what about all the good old skatevideos you cant find anywere today?
I bought this USB VHS recorder a year ago for saving old family VHS casettes, and it havent been used since. I've had this idea for this YouTube channel for some while, and now I've finally decided to lauch the channel!
