If McCain is such a great war hero, why has he consistently voted AGAINST the GI bill? (Just check the facts.)

Why has he consistently chosen to remain in the minority in Washington by opposing increases in benefits and medical assistance to our veterans (funding for VA hospitals)? They need better care!
