The VAMP sound is Harmonie's vocals spilling out, drenching you in pure attitude, with rough and ready guitar like it's a part of her and Libby, at home on the drums, playing with an instinctive power and animalistic ferocity unlike any female player around!
Having all graced the stage in various acts (from Harmonie singing on Tumbleweed's Galactaphonic album to Libby bashing the kit for Twin Psyche and Old Sound Central) and played alongside outfits like Powderfinger, Frenzal Rhomb and Magic Dirt, these girls are kicking off VAMP with newfound attitude, style and a vengeance.
There are no princesses here. Instead, VAMP take their inspiration from indie rock greats PJ Harvey and Nirvana, bringing something different to an industry that tends to get a little common.
