Witchblade is my favorite superheroine in comics! It tells the story of Sara Pezzini, a sexy hard as nails New York City Police Detective; her life is forever changed when she encounters The Witchblade, a senteint supernatural gauntlet, that seems to save and endanger her life on a regular basis. She meets many people on her journey to understanding this powerful artifact, friend and foe. Some try to manipulate her and some try to help her unravel the mystery of The Witchblade.

The Darkness is a series of American comic books produced by Top Cow Productions. The comic first appeared in 1996 and enjoyed an initial period of relative success during the Top Cow/Image Comics boom of the late 1990s. However, Top Cow was forced to "re-launch" the comic in 2002 after sales began to drop. The Darkness has sold over 1 million copies worldwide.
The comic's central subject is the power known as The Darkness and its wielders. The Darkness is an ageless power dating back beyond human history. It is linked with the Angelus and the Witchblade. The Darkness is passed down a family line from father to son, leaving the previous user (and taking his life) as his first child is conceived. The power then manifests in the child on his 21st birthday.
Darkness users can create anything they desire with The Darkness, even sentient beings, but anything they make will crumble to dust in the light. The Darkness is quite deadly, allowing the user to call forth darkling minions to aid them, and even survive gunshots. The power can also be used to maul and feed on people.
The Darkness does not function unless it is dark, but some users can also manipulate this by creating their own shadows/darkness (e.g. smoke grenades), being underground, turning off lights in a room, etc.

"The Darkness" is an upcoming, first/third person shooter for the XBox360 and PS3. The game is based on the comic series.
In case you don't know anything about either, you play as Jackie Estacado, a hitman, who on his 21 birthday, discoveres a supernatural power deep inside of him called The Darkness. The Darkness does have a mind of its own so Jackie must learn to control it before it gets out of hand.
I took parts of the trailers that have been released and some gameplay and combined with some music to make this fanmade trailer.
